Role Overview & Specifications
The primary responsibility of the OEM Account Manager is to maintain and grow relationships with OEM customers, while achieving an assigned sales and profit growth goal. Expected to retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts. Responsible for selling and supporting the complete product offering, focusing on customers with high-value, strategic growth opportunity.
Responsibilities:Retain and grow volume, sales, and profitability through proactive management of assigned customer accounts.Embraces and consistently outpaces sales objectives for all new customer opportunities.Analyze market to obtain latest trends, customer needs, competitors' position, and depth of customer base to advise regarding marketing strategy.Collaborate with engineering to identify customer
requirements for translating them into product specifications.Develops customer account plans for all assigned customers using the tools provided, leading a joint company/customer planning process that identifies relevant customer needs, prioritizes initiatives, and establishes a clear action plan and timeline for success.Recommend pricing and marketing programs to remain competitive.Proactively owns customer's satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service issues, proactively communicating with Customer Service/Inside Sale/and other departments and managing resolution.Interface with customer service and quality regarding and observed or reported quality/safety issues.Naturally takes a cooperative role on the team, leading by example and supporting/developing self and team in the tools, processes, and procedures of the sales function.Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field5-10 years of
experience with the RV industryResults orientated with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales goalsEffective communicator with internal and external usersHighly proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Word and OutlookMust be adaptable and work well under pressure in environment due to regularly changing industry
requirementsExcellent problem-solving and conflict resolution
skills to accomplish collaborative resolutionsWell organized, attention-to-detail, self-motivated, responsible, and respectful in all interactionsExcellent interpersonal and written communication
