A Day In The Role

These individuals will be working in their Primary Care and Dermatology Departments of their health center helping support a lot of patients every day. They will be doing pre auths, rooming patients, getting the charts prepped for Doctors and Nurses. They may be bringing in information for Prescription Refills, and they will be putting that information into the system for the Nurse and Doctor. They will be getting the patients through the first 30% of their visit. Candidate will be seeing around 30+ patients/day.Mini float to 2-3 different service lines on 1 floor, helping with different providers throughout the weekPrefer someone with some

experience, does not need to be

experienced in MedStar—any medical

experience Does not need certification—if go perm will need to get certified within 1 yr Light procedures, possibly helping with instruments, drawing medication/prescriptions

2+ years

experience in Clinical or Medical AssistantDiploma or GED requiredEMR

experience preferred
