Due to ambitious growth, our client is looking for an experienced Urban Designer to join their London hub. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has a passion to create bespoke outdoor spaces for residential and community spaces.

The Urban Designer is a full-time/permanent opportunity and our client is offering an annual salary up to £45K alongside many benefits as listed below

Key responsibilities of the Urban Designer:
  • Carry out and oversee the preparation of conceptual urban design and planning work
  • Formulate feasibility studies, masterplanning, development briefs, design strategies and other design documents
  • Work closely with the directors and associate directors on the programming of projects
  • Manage delegated projects in respect of timescales and client liaison
Key attributes of the Urban Designer:
  • Experience working in an architectural practice on residential projects
  • Good proficiency in using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD and/or Sketchup rendering/visualisation packages
  • Hold a recognised Urban Design qualification and passion for creating great spaces
  • Proficient communicator both verbally and written with good hand drawing skills
  • Good attention to detail and creative ability
